About the Role
As a Senior Kofax Developer / Kofax TotalAgility Developer, you will make an impact by designing and building enterprise-grade document processing solutions on the KTA 7.10+ platform. You will bring deep, hands-on expertise in intelligent document extraction and classification to support high-volume, mission-critical automation initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will translate complex document-handling requirements into robust, production-ready workflows that drive accuracy, efficiency, and scale across the organization's document processing landscape.
In This Role You will:
- Design and develop end-to-end KTA solutions, from process architecture through deployment, leveraging 6+ years of hands-on KTA development experience
- Configure and customize document classification and extraction workflows to handle complex, image-based data across diverse document types
- Write custom scripts to extend platform capabilities and address edge cases that standard configuration can't solve
- Build and implement export connectors, along with broader system customizations, to integrate KTA outputs into downstream enterprise systems
- Design and implement business rules and automation logic that govern process flow, exception handling, and decision points
- Troubleshoot extraction and classification issues, diagnosing root causes in recognition accuracy, field mapping, or workflow logic
- Apply solid .NET Framework knowledge to build and support custom components within the KTA environment
- Support enterprise-scale document processing implementations, ensuring solutions remain reliable and maintainable in production
What you need to have to be considered
- Minimum 6+ years of development experience using Kofax Total Agility (KTA) 7.10+
- Strong experience in document extraction
- Ability to write custom scripts
- Experience handling complex image-based data extraction
- Process design and Business Rule implementation
- Document classification, extraction, export connector configuration, and customization
- Good knowledge of.NET Framework
- Kofax Total Agility Certification preferred/required

Salary and Other Compensation:
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $110,000 – $125,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
