Job Summary
Sr Consultant role requiring eight to ten years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance focused on delivering high quality consulting outcomes in a hybrid work model during day shifts without travel requirements enabling clients to improve underwriting claims and policy servicing efficiency while supporting the organization mission of responsible and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end consulting engagements for Property and Casualty Insurance clients to optimize underwriting rating and claims operations while aligning solutions with strategic business objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Analyze complex policy administration billing and claims processes to identify operational bottlenecks and design practical process improvements that enhance service quality and reduce handling time.
- Collaborate closely with client business stakeholders and technology partners to translate insurance domain requirements into clear functional specifications that guide solution design and implementation.
- Develop detailed requirement documents process maps and user stories that capture rating logic coverage structures and claims handling rules in a format that can be readily implemented by delivery teams.
- Guide clients through target operating model definition for Property and Casualty portfolios by assessing current capabilities identifying gaps and proposing phased roadmaps for transformation initiatives.
- Perform impact assessments for changes in underwriting guidelines regulatory mandates and product structures and recommend mitigation plans that minimize disruption to ongoing business operations.
- Configure and validate insurance platform solutions such as policy administration components rating engines or claims modules to ensure they reflect agreed business rules and coverage features.
- Conduct system and user acceptance testing of Property and Casualty solutions by preparing test scenarios executing test cases logging defects and validating fixes against business expectations.
- Prepare and deliver clear client ready presentations status reports and workshops that explain findings options and recommendations in a structured and actionable manner for various stakeholder groups.
- Support production rollout activities by coordinating user training process documentation and post implementation reviews to ensure stable adoption and measurable business benefits.
- Mentor junior consultants in Property and Casualty concepts artifacts and best practices enabling them to contribute effectively to client engagements and strengthen overall team capability.
- Work within hybrid teams across locations and time zones to ensure that design decisions configuration changes and defect resolutions are documented consistently and communicated promptly.
- Align all consulting activities with organizational policies on ethics compliance data privacy and risk management ensuring that client outcomes contribute positively to societal trust in the insurance ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Possess eight to ten years of hands on experience in Property and Casualty Insurance across areas such as underwriting policy administration claims or billing with a strong understanding of personal and commercial lines products.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of core insurance concepts including rating factors coverage limits deductibles endorsements reinsurance and loss control practices applied in daily consulting work.
- Exhibit proven experience working on transformation or system implementation projects for insurance carriers managing requirements testing and rollout activities in a structured consulting environment.
- Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret data from policy systems claims repositories or financial reports and convert insights into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Utilize excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills to engage diverse stakeholders such as underwriters claims handlers actuaries and technology specialists in hybrid work settings.
- Show familiarity with modern insurance platforms or digital solutions such as policy administration suites claims management tools or customer service portals used in Property and Casualty initiatives.
- Display comfort with working in a hybrid work model that combines onsite and remote collaboration while maintaining productivity during day shifts without requiring travel.
