Senior Guidewire Claim Center/Policy Center Functional Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter/Policy Center Functional Specialist/Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in P&C COTS Guidewire Tools & accelerators and Jira. This role involves working with insurance products specifically focusing on Guidewire and ClaimCenter/Policy center functionalities. The position is hybrid with no travel required and operates during day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of functional solutions using Guidewire tools to enhance business processes.
  • Oversee the integration of P&C COTS systems to ensure seamless operations and improved efficiency.
  • Provide expert guidance on the use of Guidewire accelerators to optimize project delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align insurance product functionalities with business objectives.
  • Analyze and document business requirements to ensure alignment with technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and processes.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team knowledge on Guidewire and ClaimCenter/PC functionalities.
  • Monitor project progress and provide status updates to stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to insurance products and Guidewire systems.
  • Implement best practices for system upgrades and enhancements to maintain optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure quality assurance and successful project outcomes.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve system capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in P&C COTS and Guidewire tools demonstrating a deep understanding of system functionalities.
  • Have a strong background in using Jira for project management and issue tracking.
  • Demonstrate expertise in insurance products particularly in Guidewire and ClaimCenter/PC functionalities.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex system challenges.
  • Show proficiency in documenting technical specifications and business requirements.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain enhancing the ability to deliver tailored solutions.

Guidewire Certified Associate Jira Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $140,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
