Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex business processes and translate them into detailed functional requirements that fully leverage ServiceNow platform capabilities
- Analyze existing workflows and data flows using ServiceNow process optimization to identify bottlenecks and design improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
- Design comprehensive ServiceNow solutions by configuring platform foundation components such as tables forms and business rules that align with enterprise standards and scalability goals
- Administer ServiceNow instances by managing user roles access controls configurations and maintenance activities to ensure platform stability security and reliable performance
- Document end to end business processes and solution designs in clear artifacts including process maps requirement specifications and configuration guides that support long term maintainability
- Coordinate with technical teams to validate that implemented configurations and enhancements meet business requirements and follow best practices for ServiceNow platform administration
- Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes to ensure that ServiceNow updates integrations and new features do not disrupt existing services and align with strategic business priorities
- Lead structured user acceptance testing cycles by preparing test scenarios validating outcomes and capturing feedback to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations and quality standards
- Provide analytical insights and performance reports derived from ServiceNow data to inform process improvement initiatives and support continuous optimization across operations
- Facilitate hybrid model collaboration through regular workshops reviews and remote sessions ensuring that distributed stakeholders remain aligned on priorities timelines and solution outcomes
- Apply merchandising domain understanding when applicable to refine requirements related to product lifecycle assortment planning and inventory processes for improved commercial performance
- Guide business users in adopting new or enhanced ServiceNow capabilities by delivering targeted training knowledge transfer and support that drive effective usage and measurable business value
- Partner with governance and compliance functions to ensure ServiceNow configurations data handling and workflows adhere to enterprise policies and regulatory expectations
Qualifications
- Demonstrate extensive experience as a business analyst with 12 to 16 years in large scale enterprise environments and proven delivery of complex platform based solutions
- Exhibit strong proficiency in ServiceNow process optimization with hands on experience in analyzing workflows creating optimization recommendations and tracking realized benefits
- Show solid mastery of ServiceNow platform foundation including configuration of core modules data models business rules and user interface elements to support diverse business needs
- Apply advanced skills in ServiceNow platform administration encompassing role management access control system properties and instance maintenance to maintain a resilient environment
- Utilize practical knowledge of merchandising processes such as category management pricing and inventory optimization as a desirable domain skill to enrich business analysis when required
- Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation abilities to convey requirements solution designs and analytical findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Employ strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities to evaluate options make informed recommendations and support decision making that advances organizational objectives
- Work effectively in a hybrid environment by using collaboration tools time management and self organization practices to maintain productivity consistency and stakeholder trust
