Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise and technical leadership across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with Jira, SAP, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and other enterprise applications.
• Drive CMDB governance, Discovery, Service Mapping, automation, and platform optimization to ensure scalability, performance, and data quality.
• Lead solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and development best practices while collaborating with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC.
What you need to have to be considered
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integrations, workflow automation, and ServiceNow platform development.
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as CSM, SPM, SAM Pro, SecOps, FSM, or GRC.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and enterprise ServiceNow implementations; knowledge of Agile, ITIL, Jira, and AWS is preferred.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
