Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data WareHousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. The role requires strong English language skills and offers a hybrid work model with day shifts. No travel is required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere Datastage to ensure efficient data integration.
  • Design and implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
  • Utilize SQL and PL/SQL to create optimize and maintain complex database queries and procedures.
  • Write and maintain Unix Shell Scripts to automate data processing tasks and improve system performance.
  • Apply data warehousing concepts to design and manage data storage solutions.
  • Schedule and monitor ETL jobs to ensure timely data availability for end-users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data integration projects.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ETL processes and data integration issues.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust validation and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Document ETL processes data flows and system configurations for future reference and compliance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and data processing efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data WareHousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
  • Nice to have domain experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • Must possess excellent English language skills (Read/Write Speak).
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 11 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to document processes accurately.
  • Must be proactive in staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Must be able to participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Must be committed to continuous improvement and system optimization.
