Job Summary
Serve as an Infra Dev Specialist focused on applying Scrum practices to complex infrastructure delivery in a hybrid work model ensuring high quality resilient and scalable environments that support core business products while enabling teams to deliver value efficiently predictably and with strong attention to operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end delivery of infrastructure development initiatives by applying Scrum practices that keep day to day work transparent predictable and focused on measurable value for business stakeholders.
- Facilitate recurring Scrum events for an infrastructure focused team so that sprint planning daily stand ups reviews and retrospectives consistently produce clear priorities shared understanding and actionable improvements.
- Coordinate hybrid collaboration rituals that combine on site and remote participation while maintaining smooth communication flow inclusive participation and efficient decision making across time zones during the day shift.
- Remove delivery impediments related to infrastructure dependencies environment readiness access management and tooling so that engineers can focus their time on building automating and stabilizing core platform components.
- Guide the team in decomposing complex infrastructure work into right sized backlog items that are testable and traceable to user and business outcomes reducing waste and rework across sprints.
- Collaborate closely with product architecture and operations partners to align backlog priorities with service reliability security posture and capacity needs that support critical customer facing systems.
- Monitor delivery metrics such as throughput cycle time and defect trends to help the team inspect progress objectively and adjust practices that improve quality and speed without compromising stability.
- Coach team members on Scrum values and practices adapted to infrastructure engineering scenarios encouraging continuous improvement shared ownership and sustainable pace across recurring releases.
- Coordinate with external technology teams and vendors when shared infrastructure components are involved ensuring that dependencies integration timelines and change windows are clearly planned and communicated.
- Support effective documentation habits within the team so that runbooks configuration records and change histories are updated during each sprint strengthening operational resilience and audit readiness.
- Promote automation first thinking in backlog refinement and sprint discussions so that repetitive infrastructure tasks evolve into robust scripts and pipelines that reduce risk and manual errors.
- Align sprint goals with the company purpose of providing secure available and reliable digital services that positively impact customers communities and the broader society through resilient technology foundations.
- Ensure that incident learnings and post incident action items are translated into backlog work helping the team strengthen infrastructure reliability and prevent recurrence of critical service disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bring substantial experience in infrastructure engineering and development activities that include provisioning configuration monitoring and optimization across enterprise scale environments.
- Demonstrate proven practice as Scrum Master in a technical context guiding teams through multiple release cycles while improving collaboration focus and delivery predictability.
- Apply strong understanding of Scrum and agile principles to infrastructure oriented work translating operational demands into structured backlog items and empirically driven improvements.
- Use solid communication and facilitation skills to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non technical stakeholders in a hybrid onsite and remote setting during the day shift.
- Draw on advanced problem solving skills to diagnose complex infrastructure issues coordinate cross team responses and ensure that permanent fixes are planned and executed within sprints.
- Leverage experience in enterprise scale environments to handle change control risk awareness and compliance expectations while still maintaining agile delivery flow.
