About the role
As a Solution Architect – TriZetto Facets, you will make an impact by designing and governing end-to-end solution architectures for healthcare payer transformation initiatives. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, delivery teams, and client leadership to drive successful Facets implementation, migration, modernization, and integration programs. In this role, you will:
Define end-to-end solution architecture for TriZetto Facets implementation, migration, and modernization engagements.
Translate healthcare payer business requirements into scalable functional and technical solution designs.
Lead architecture governance, design reviews, solution evaluations, and architecture sign-off activities.
Provide architecture leadership across Membership, Enrollment, Claims, Benefits, Billing, Provider Management, and Authorization domains.
Design and govern integration architectures leveraging APIs, EDI transactions, batch processes, cloud services, and third-party vendor interfaces.
Lead data migration and conversion architecture strategies to support seamless platform transitions.
Support cloud modernization initiatives, including AWS-hosted Facets deployment and optimization strategies.
Collaborate with development, testing, and deployment teams to ensure successful implementation and go-live readiness.
Identify solution risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and drive architectural best practices across programs.
Partner with client and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational goals.

What you need to have to be considered
12+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in enterprise solution delivery.
8+ years of experience in the healthcare payer domain.
5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Architecture Leadership roles.
Experience leading at least three successful TriZetto Facets implementation, migration, or modernization programs.
Deep expertise in Facets G6 architecture and core Facets modules.
Strong knowledge of Claims Processing, Membership & Enrollment, Benefits Configuration, Provider Management, and Billing & Premium Management.
Experience developing solution architectures for large-scale healthcare payer transformation initiatives.
Proven experience designing integration solutions utilizing APIs, EDI transactions, batch processes, and vendor interfaces.
Strong understanding of data migration, conversion strategies, and enterprise application integration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present architectural solutions to both technical and business audiences.
These will help you stand out
Experience with AWS cloud platforms and cloud-based healthcare transformation programs.
Knowledge of EAM and TCS frameworks within the Facets ecosystem.
Experience with API management platforms and microservices-based integration architectures.
Strong understanding of EDI healthcare transactions, including 270/271, 276/277, 834, and 835.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices.
Advanced SQL, data analysis, and data quality management experience.
Experience supporting healthcare payer modernization, digital transformation, and cloud migration initiatives.
Relevant certifications in AWS, Solution Architecture, Healthcare Technology, or TriZetto platforms.
Ability to provide thought leadership and mentor teams on healthcare solution architecture best practices.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $120K - $135K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
