About the role
As a Consulting Manager – Commercial Lending, you will make an impact by supporting the discovery, optimization, and transformation of credit memo workflows and commercial real estate (CRE) loan origination processes. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services team and work collaboratively with Credit, Underwriting, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, support regulatory requirements, and enhance lending operations.
In this role, you will:
Partner with Credit, Underwriting, and IT teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements for credit memo workflows and CRE loan origination platforms into functional specifications and system configurations
Analyze and optimize existing credit memo processes, including data flows from financial spreading, underwriting analysis, and approval workflows, to identify automation opportunities and reduce manual processing effort
Support implementation, enhancement, integration, and upgrade initiatives related to loan origination systems, credit memo templates, and portfolio monitoring platforms
Lead and support UAT planning, test case development, defect triage, and validation activities to ensure successful solution delivery
Serve as a subject matter liaison between business and technology teams, leveraging commercial real estate lending knowledge to ensure solutions align with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements

What you must have to be considered
Experience as a Business Analyst supporting Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending, Commercial Banking, or Loan Origination initiatives
Strong understanding of CRE credit memo preparation, review, and approval processes is a must
Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations
Experience working with loan origination platforms such as nCino or similar commercial lending solutions
Knowledge of credit analysis, financial spreading, underwriting workflows, and approval processes
Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations within lending environments
Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case development, defect management, and release validation activities
Strong analytical and process improvement skills with the ability to identify automation opportunities and streamline business processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams
These will help you succeed
Experience with portfolio monitoring platforms and commercial lending technology ecosystems
Experience supporting credit transformation, workflow automation, or digital lending initiatives
Understanding of commercial credit risk management and lending operations
Experience documenting business process flows, system requirements, and data flows
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations within commercial lending environments
Ability to act as a trusted advisor to Credit, Underwriting, Operations, and Technology stakeholders
Experience working in complex banking and financial services environments
