Job Summary

Sr Software Engineer B2 role for a hybrid work model focusing on modern web and backend services using Angular versions thirteen to sixteen Angular JS Java Spring Boot and microservices architecture delivering secure and scalable solutions for cards and payments while collaborating in a day shift environment with no travel expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust user facing applications using Angular versions thirteen to sixteen to deliver responsive and accessible digital experiences for enterprise scale clients
  • Develop reusable Angular components and modules that ensure consistency maintainability and high performance across complex front end applications
  • Refactor and enhance legacy Angular JS codebases into modern Angular architectures to improve reliability security and long term supportability
  • Design and implement Java based microservices that follow domain driven principles and support high availability and scalability for critical financial workflows
  • Develop Spring Boot services that integrate with internal and external systems while ensuring fault tolerance observability and secure communication
  • Create and maintain REST style service contracts that are easy to consume versioned predictably and documented clearly for partner engineering teams
  • Implement robust error handling logging and monitoring within microservices to enable quick diagnosis of production issues and proactive service health management
  • Collaborate with product managers architects and peer engineers to translate business requirements from cards and payments use cases into technical designs and implementation plans
  • Write unit integration and component tests for Angular Java and Spring Boot services to ensure reliable deployments and reduce regression risks during frequent releases
  • Optimize database interactions and service performance to handle high volume transaction flows typical in cards and payments processing environments
  • Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to share knowledge enforce coding standards and uplift overall engineering quality within the team
  • Collaborate with site reliability and platform teams to deploy services through automated pipelines while improving build reliability and release consistency in the hybrid work model
  • Engage in backlog grooming sprint planning and day to day agile ceremonies to plan work transparently track progress and ensure predictable business outcomes in a day shift schedule
  • Contribute to secure coding practices and compliance aware implementations especially for card data handling and payment flows to protect customer information and support regulatory needs
  • Support production incident analysis by reviewing logs trace data and metrics then implementing corrective actions that enhance system resilience and customer satisfaction

    • Qualifications

  • Apply strong experience in Angular versions thirteen to sixteen to craft modular maintainable and testable front end solutions for complex business journeys
  • Use practical experience in Angular JS to understand older implementations and guide incremental migration strategies toward modern frameworks without disrupting services
  • Apply expert level Java and Spring Boot skills to design and implement microservices that are scalable secure and aligned with enterprise engineering guidelines
  • Utilize hands on expertise in microservices patterns such as configuration management service discovery and circuit breaking to build resilient distributed systems
  • Leverage understanding of cards and payments domain to design flows that reflect real world transaction rules settlement processes and dispute scenarios even when such experience is gained through related financial services
  • Communicate clearly in hybrid work settings using collaboration tools and structured documentation so that distributed team members can coordinate effectively during day shift operations
  • Apply seven to eleven years of software engineering experience to make sound technical decisions mentor peers informally and uphold high standards without formal leadership accountability

    • Certifications Required

    Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent Java certification preferred additional certification in Spring or cloud platforms is beneficial
