Job Summary
Experienced SAP HANA DBA with expertise in SAP HANA installation administration upgrades migrations backup and recovery performance tuning and system replication. Hands-on experience with Single DB and MDC environments HANA 1.0/2.0 upgrades security administration tenant management monitoring troubleshooting and high-availability configurations. Skilled in supporting production systems resolving critical incidents and ensuring database reliability and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Strong expertise in SAP HANA Architecture administration and support across enterprise landscapes.
- Hands-on experience managing Single Database and Multi-Tenant Database Container (MDC) environments.
- Performed SAP HANA database installation configuration post-installation activities and system provisioning.
- Managed HANA database reinstallation tenant database creation/deletion and lifecycle management activities.
- Installed and maintained SAP HANA Studio HANA Client HANA Client for Excel and HANA add-ons including AFL RTL and LCApps.
- Executed HANA SPS upgrades maintenance revisions and HANA 1.0 to 2.0 migrations for single-node scale-out and replication-enabled systems.
- Optimized database performance through monitoring trace analysis transaction management memory optimization table partitioning row-store reorganization and SQL performance tuning.
- Troubleshot critical issues involving CPU utilization OOM events blocked transactions long-running threads XS Engine and database alerts.
- Conducted SAP HANA DBCC health checks Mini Checks and EWA report analysis to ensure system stability and compliance.
- Implemented and administered HANA security through user management role assignments privilege administration and HDB user store configuration.
- Managed static and dynamic parameter configurations to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
- Performed backup recovery PIT/LPT restores and disaster recovery activities across on-premises Azure and AWS environments.
- Executed HANA database refreshes system copy activities DB SID changes virtual hostname renaming and password reset procedures.

- Integrated SAP HANA with Smart Data Integration (SDI) for enterprise data connectivity and data provisioning requirements.
