Business Analyst
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Salesforce / CRM platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. You will be responsible for end-to-end requirement management from facilitating discovery sessions and decomposing complex requirements into features and user stories, to conducting data analysis and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities
· Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to capture, refine, and document business processes, operational needs, and technical requirements.
· Agile Documentation: Translate high-level business goals into structured Epics, Features, and actionable User Stories complete with clear Acceptance Criteria (using frameworks like Definition of Ready/Done).
· Salesforce / CRM Solutioning: Partner with Salesforce Architects and Developers to configure and leverage core Salesforce functionality (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) to meet business objectives.
· Database & Data Analysis: Write SQL queries to analyze data structures, validate data migration/integration logic, run data sanity checks, and support troubleshooting.
· User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Design UAT test plans, write detailed test scenarios/cases, coordinate UAT sessions with business stakeholders, log/track defects, and secure sign-offs for release.
· Stakeholder Management & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between executive business partners, product managers, and technical delivery teams. Articulate technical constraints to non-technical users clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications
· Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3+ years dedicated to Salesforce/CRM platforms.
· Salesforce Proficiency: Solid understanding of core Salesforce objects, capabilities, data security models, reporting/dashboards, and common integration patterns.
· Agile/Scrum Mastery: Deep experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, for story mapping, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 and $95,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
