Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data WareHousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. The role requires strong English language skills and offers a hybrid work model with day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere Datastage to ensure efficient data integration.
- Design and implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Utilize SQL and PL/SQL to create optimize and maintain complex database queries and procedures.
- Write and maintain Unix Shell Scripts to automate data processing tasks and improve system performance.
- Apply data warehousing concepts to design and manage data storage solutions.
- Schedule and monitor ETL jobs to ensure timely data availability for end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data integration projects.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ETL processes and data integration issues.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust validation and error-handling mechanisms.
- Document ETL processes data flows and system configurations for future reference and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and data processing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must have strong experience in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data WareHousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
- Nice to have domain experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Must possess excellent English language skills (Read/Write Speak).
- Must have a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 11 years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to document processes accurately.
- Must be proactive in staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Must be able to participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
