) Administered and optimized VMware technologies including vSphere vCenter ESXi vSAN NSX-T and HCX improving performance and infrastructure reliability.
2) Utilized advanced VMware features (vMotion Storage vMotion HA FT DRS).
3) Troubleshoot backup issues performed VM disk resizing CPU/memory upgrades and other configurations to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
Led successful cloud migration initiatives with VMware HCX transitioning client workloads from on-premises to Google Cloud reducing operational costs and enhancing system resilience.
5) Configured and managed NSX-T (upgrades edge resizing troubleshooting) ensuring robust and scalable network functionality.
6) Conducted Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on incidents driving continuous improvements in system reliability and minimizing recurrence.
7) Support day-to-day operations including ESXi NR issues vCenter resizing syslog configuration password resets storage volume mounting and log analysis using Kibana.
8) Delivered global L2/L3 support for GCVE using Salesforce Service Cloud resolving incidents within SLAs.
9) Provided end-user support via email calls remote sessions and ensuring timely resolution of tickets per SLA priorities.
10) Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product team to resolve complex technical challenges and implement best practices.
11) Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
12) Oversaw VMware 7.x virtual infrastructure administration managing ESXi & vCenter ver 8/7/6.5/6 across production and non-production environments.
