As an Salesforce CLM Architect, you will make an impact by owning and defining the multi‑cloud Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue Cloud, and CLM platforms. You will be a valued member of the Salesforce Architecture team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, legal, finance, and delivery teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the multi‑cloud architecture vision across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and CLM platforms (Salesforce, Conga, DocuSign).
  • Define end‑to‑end technical architecture covering lead‑to‑order, quote‑to‑cash, and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Establish architectural guardrails, integration patterns, canonical data models, and governance frameworks.
  • Translate business strategy into scalable, secure, and compliant Salesforce solution designs.
  • Lead architecture design sessions, blueprinting, solution reviews, and technical governance forums.
  • Architect CPQ configurations including pricing engines, discounting frameworks, and product catalog structures.
  • Architect the full Q2C lifecycle including quoting, ordering, billing, invoicing, amendments, renewals, and revenue recognition.
  • Define and architect CLM capabilities including templates, clause libraries, workflows, approvals, negotiation, and contract metadata.
  • Architect integrations across Salesforce, ERP, payment gateways, tax engines, data warehouses, and e‑signature platforms.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to onshore and offshore development teams while ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 12 years on Salesforce CRM and 5+ years as a Technical Architect across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and CLM platforms.
  • Deep understanding of quote‑to‑cash, subscription billing, revenue recognition, and contract lifecycle management processes.
  • Proven experience architecting complex, multi‑cloud Salesforce implementations at enterprise scale.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation tools.
  • Experience defining and governing integrations using MuleSoft, APIs, event‑driven architectures, and middleware platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead architecture decisions, influence senior stakeholders, and guide cross‑functional teams.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience with integrated CLM platforms such as DocuSign CLM or Conga CLM.
  • Experience with global Salesforce rollouts and complex commercial or subscription‑based business models.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 compliance, audit requirements, and internal controls.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management best practices.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, CPQ Specialist, and Consultant certifications across Revenue, Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000p.a. - $180,000p.a. depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
