Guidewire Developer – PC & CC
About the role
As a Senior Product Architect – Guidewire, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable Guidewire solutions aligned to business and industry requirements. You will be a valued member of the Guidewire delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and cross‑functional technology partners.
In this role, you will:
- Design and architect scalable, high‑quality solutions using the Guidewire Insurance Suite, aligned with business goals and industry standards
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable solution designs in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
- Lead integration design and implementation using the Guidewire Cloud Integration Framework to ensure seamless system connectivity
- Provide technical leadership on the effective use of Guidewire tools and accelerators to optimize development and performance
- Oversee configuration and customization of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter to meet client‑specific needs
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON. What you need to have to be considered
- Extensive hands‑on experience with the Guidewire Insurance Suite, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
- Strong expertise in the Guidewire Cloud Integration Framework and system integrations
- Proficiency in Gosu programming and PCF (Page Configuration Framework) development
- Advanced SQL skills for database management, data integrity, and performance optimization
- Deep understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain, including workflows, processes, and regulatory considerations

- Guidewire Certified Specialist certification
- SQL certification
- Property & Casualty Insurance certification
- Proven experience leading architecture decisions and resolving complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 11, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between 88,000 - 140,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
