CMT Consulting Practice:
The Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) practice helps clients to reimagine, redefine, and transform their businesses to create new sources of value and become digital leaders. We do this by working in true partnership, helping our clients become digitally relevant and enabling them to disrupt their own markets, with unparalleled levels of insight, innovative solutions and delivery velocity. Responsibilities:
· Support (Lead Telco) annual Business Planning cycles setting ambitions, targets and budget allocations
· Lead the delivery of practice targets in terms of revenue, profitability, ‘pull-through’ and capability development
· Supporting the wider CMT Consulting strategy, leads and develops a profitable and rapidly growing Telco advisory business, including account plans and owning the sales process
· Drives the development of cutting edge thought leadership, service offerings and knowledge in Telco
· Directly enables sales and supports delivery of major Cognizant Consulting projects with far reaching impact
· Curates a European client network for Cognizant in Telco
· A ‘Trusted Advisor’ to key clients by ascertaining client aspirations, industry dynamics, trends and challenges
· Takes long term ownership of client satisfaction and development
· Establishes effective and influential internal network across Cognizant globally to effectively sell or deliver
· Works with the Europe Head of Consulting, CMT to recruit and develop senior and SME management consulting talent; building a leadership pipeline or ‘right-shapes’ the Practice
· Manages and grows a team of client focussed business consultants delivering regular consulting projects with an eye for quality in deliverables and customer satisfaction
· Develops and empowers team members though coaching and mentoring own team or client staff
· Builds and leverages Cognizant’s eco-system of partners, alliances, start-ups, academia and design agencies to provide ready-to-deploy teams to build customer specific strategies and solutions
· Engage with the market through events, thought leadership and other marketing opportunities in Telco
Skills & Experience
· Strong Telco domain knowledge and consulting experience at an CxO level
· Deep knowledge of Telco market, commercial industry dynamics and changing business models
· Significant exposure to leading complex consulting, delivery and technology projects in Telco is critical
· Strong personal network and reputation in these key markets and CxO clients is critical
· The ability to discuss business and technology enabled transformation
· Proven experience in managing and connecting global multi-disciplinary teams
· Entrepreneurial and creative thinker
· Delivers concise and effective communications with authority, excellent inter-personal and influencing skills
· Highly adaptable in dynamic environments
· A Leader who inspires trust and confidence with courageous and decisive actions
· Customer orientated, keeping up to date with market and technology trends
· Cross-cultural awareness is well looked upon
· Preferably with an MBA
· Excellent team player who actively supports peers
