Job Summary

Sr Software Engineer B3 role in a hybrid work model focusing on full stack development using Angular version ten and above dot Net SQL Azure and JavaScript The role involves designing scalable enterprise applications for investment banking operations ensuring reliability performance and security while collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high quality financial technology solutions


Responsibilities

  • Develop robust customer facing and internal web applications using Angular dot Net and JavaScript to support complex investment banking workflows and improve operational efficiency for stakeholders in a hybrid work model
  • Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using dot Net and SQL to ensure reliable transaction processing and accurate data persistence for investment banking and brokerage platforms
  • Optimize database queries stored procedures and indexing strategies in SQL to improve response times system throughput and overall platform stability for critical financial operations
  • Configure and maintain Azure services including app services storage and monitoring capabilities to ensure resilient cloud native solutions with high availability and disaster readiness
  • Collaborate closely with product owners business analysts and operations teams to translate investment banking requirements into technical designs that align with business goals and regulatory expectations
  • Implement secure coding practices input validation and data protection mechanisms across Angular and dot Net components to safeguard sensitive financial information and reduce operational risk
  • Develop reusable UI components and shared libraries in Angular and JavaScript to promote consistent user experiences reduce duplication and accelerate delivery of new product features
  • Conduct thorough unit integration and system testing using appropriate frameworks to detect defects early improve code reliability and maintain high quality standards in production systems
  • Participate in peer code reviews and technical discussions to uphold coding standards share knowledge and continuously refine design patterns and best practices across the engineering team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues by analyzing logs database metrics and Azure monitoring data to restore services quickly and prevent recurrence in mission critical applications
  • Document solution designs technical decisions and operational runbooks in a clear and structured manner to support maintainability knowledge sharing and smoother onboarding of future team members
  • Coordinate effectively with cross functional teams across time zones when needed to ensure seamless deployment planning release management and post deployment validation without impacting day operations
  • Engage in continuous learning of emerging cloud services frameworks and security practices to keep solutions modern enhance platform resilience and contribute to the long term technology vision of the organization


Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor degree or higher in computer science information technology or a related discipline with a strong foundation in object oriented programming data structures and algorithms
  • Bring nine to twelve years of professional experience in software development with a focus on enterprise grade applications preferably in financial services or adjacent industries
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Angular version ten or higher including components services reactive forms state handling and front end performance tuning
  • Exhibit strong expertise in dot Net framework or dot Net core including web API development dependency injection asynchronous programming and integration with SQL databases
  • Show solid hands on experience with SQL server or similar relational databases including schema design complex joins indexing strategies and performance optimization techniques
  • Apply practical knowledge of Azure cloud services such as app services functions storage and monitoring tools to design secure scalable and resilient application architectures
  • Utilize advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills to implement clean modular and testable front end code that can be easily maintained and extended over time
  • Leverage understanding of investment banking operations investment banking and brokerage processes as a nice to have to design solutions that fit trade lifecycle settlement and reporting needs
  • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form with technical and nontechnical partners to ensure shared understanding of requirements constraints and delivery timelines
  • Practice disciplined use of version control build pipelines and continuous integration tools to support reliable deployments and reduce manual intervention during releases
  • Embrace hybrid work practices by using collaboration tools effectively managing time independently and maintaining strong engagement with team members and stakeholders
