About the role
We're looking for a Senior ServiceNow CMDB Consultant to take ownership of the Configuration Management Database and drive its ongoing maturity within a ServiceNow environment. This role is ideal for a professional who started their career as a ServiceNow developer and has progressively evolved toward process ownership, governance, and data quality management — someone who understands the platform inside out but is now focused on making the CMDB a trusted, strategic asset across the organization.

A TEAM THAT HAS YOUR BACK — Talented colleagues who collaborate, support, and push each other to deliver quality work.

A CLEAR CAREER PATH — Grow vertically into greater responsibility or horizontally into new technologies. You decide the direction.

What you'll bring

- Demonstrated career progression from a technical ServiceNow role toward CMDB process ownership and governance
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Solid understanding of CI data modeling, relationship design, and data ingestion from multiple sources
- Good grasp of ITIL-based Configuration Management principles and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with CMDB maturity models and structured improvement approaches

- Familiarity with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) — a plus
- Experience in large enterprise or consulting environments — a plus
- Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and English (B2 or above) — required for client-facing meetings, calls, and workshop.

- Define and enforce CMDB policies, data governance procedures, and CI class and relationship models
- Execute a phased CMDB roadmap focused on data completeness, accuracy, and business value
- Drive CMDB adoption across IT and business stakeholders, communicating its value clearly
- Configure, maintain, and optimize the CMDB module within ServiceNow
- Work with Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to ensure accurate and automated data ingestion
- Define and track CMDB health KPIs — completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and relationships
- Establish data ownership and stewardship models across infrastructure, application, and cloud teams
- Conduct regular audits and lead data remediation initiatives in collaboration with CI owners
- Act as the central point of contact for all CMDB-related topics across the organization
- Provide training, documentation, and guidance to stakeholders on CMDB processes
