About the role
AEM Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), backend Java development, and modern frontend technologies. The candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable digital experience solutions on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM Sites components, templates, dialogs, Assets, Forms, Workflows, MSM, and Adobe Dynamic Media.
- Configure and manage CRX/CRXDE Lite, OSGi services, and Sling framework; develop reusable components using Sling Models, Servlets, Filters, and Schedulers.
- Implement JCR APIs, HTL (Sightly), Editable Templates, Policies, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Configure and optimize Dispatcher caching and security; integrate AEM with external services via REST APIs and Spring Boot microservices.
- Develop backend systems using Java (Collections, Streams, Concurrency) and responsive UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
- Support CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins; collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps following best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution

Other optional sections
The annual salary range for this position is between $85.000 – $100.000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
