Senior Engagement Delivery Manager – ServiceNow
About the role
As a Senior Technical Engagement Manager – ServiceNow, you will make an impact by leading end‑to‑end delivery for enterprise ServiceNow programs, ensuring successful execution, governance, and client satisfaction. You will be a valued member of the delivery leadership team, partnering closely with client stakeholders, technical architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions across the ServiceNow platform.
In this role, you will:
- Own the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, implementation, upgrades, and post‑deployment support.
- Serve as the primary client contact, managing stakeholder expectations and building strong executive relationships.
- Lead onsite and offshore delivery teams, ensuring alignment across cross‑functional workstreams.
- Manage program financials, including budgets, SOWs, resource planning, and cost optimization.
- Drive platform governance, including upgrades, patching, compliance standards, and system health.
- Conduct regular service reviews and provide updates on SLAs, milestones, risks, and overall delivery performance.

What you need to have to be considered
- 12+ years of experience in IT services, with 8+ years focused on ServiceNow engagement or program management.
- Proven experience managing enterprise‑scale ServiceNow delivery programs.
- Strong background in managed services or professional services delivery, including onsite/offshore models.
- Hands‑on experience managing financials, budgets, SOWs, and P&L.
- Strong understanding of core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Experience managing client relationships and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and program management skills.
These will help you stand out
- Experience with IRM/GRC, including Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, or Audit Management.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow architecture, CSDM, integrations, and upgrade cycles.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS (ITSM or IRM).
- ITIL v3/v4 certification.
- Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $119,000 - $139,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
