We are seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Manager (AVOM) to lead operational excellence across autonomous vehicle programs while fostering strong client partnerships and high-performing teams. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business performance, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support multiple operational teams to achieve business objectives and drive organizational performance.
Develop and implement operational initiatives that align with strategic business goals and client expectations.
Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of business processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
Establish management frameworks, performance metrics, and accountability measures to ensure the successful execution of operational strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships, ensuring a high level of service, responsiveness, and satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Align operational performance with client objectives to consistently meet and exceed expectations.
Collaborate with department leaders and cross-functional teams to support business priorities and organizational goals.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Support workforce planning, team development, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
Prepare and present operational reports, performance updates, and business reviews to leadership teams.
Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field degree.
Expertise in leadership, supervisory, or operational management experience.
Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
Experience leading teams and driving performance improvement initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
Flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within autonomous vehicle operations, transportation, mobility services, logistics, fleet operations, or related industries.
Strong understanding of operational excellence methodologies and performance management practices.
Experience managing customer-focused service delivery environments.
Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
