Job Summary
Serve as a Test Lead for complex web services and API platforms directing end to end validation of Rest API integrations for enterprise clients in a hybrid work model. Apply 8 to 12 years of quality engineering experience to design robust test strategies elevate product reliability and help ensure accurate and secure digital solutions for pharmacy and other domains.
Responsibilities
Development of automation test scripts and reusable utilities
Identify and generate test data for test scripting & coverage
Automation script dry run and execution.
Configuration changes of scripts for execution in Cloud
Schedule automation batch runs during sprints and record results
Execute automation tests in different environments
Maintenance of test automation pack and ensure the pack is up to date
Update the change management tools like Azure DevOps regularly with latest status of tests and defects
Qualifications
- Demonstrate 8 to 12 years of hands on experience in software testing with strong focus on web services testing API testing and Rest API validation in enterprise environments.
- Exhibit advanced proficiency using tools for API design execution and automation such as Postman SoapUI or similar solutions along with experience validating JSON and XML payloads.
- Show solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile delivery methods including backlog refinement sprint ceremonies and continuous integration practices.
- Bring practical experience in defect management and test management platforms with the ability to maintain traceability between requirements test cases and defects.
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret complex service interactions and to design high value test scenarios for critical business functions.
- Prefer experience in pharmacy claims or healthcare payer systems to better understand claim adjudication rules regulatory considerations and member experience impacts.
