CLM Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CLM Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DocuSign CLM and DocuSign eSignature, along with a strong background in enterprise application architecture, integrations, and contract automation. This role will partner with business, legal, and compliance stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital contracting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design of DocuSign CLM solutions.
- Define technical specifications, data models, repository structures, and integration blueprints.
- Design scalable CLM environments supporting multi-region and multi-entity operations.
- Develop contract automation strategies, eSignature workflows, and lifecycle management solutions.
- Build and configure complex workflows, approval processes, clause libraries, templates, and business rules.
- Design document generation solutions using smart templates, attribute mapping, and merge fields.
- Configure and optimize DocuSign eSignature capabilities, including routing, authentication, PowerForms, and envelope customization.
- Develop advanced customizations and integrations using C#, JavaScript, XML, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
- Create architecture documentation, including solution designs, integration specifications, data flows, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with DocuSign CLM (including SpringCM) and DocuSign eSignature.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale CLM implementations.
- Strong expertise in C#, JavaScript, XML, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
- Experience integrating DocuSign with Salesforce and/or other CRM/ERP platforms.
- Deep understanding of contract management processes, legal workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with enterprise security, SSO/IAM, data privacy, and digital contracting solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations.
- Experience creating architecture and technical design documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales, procurement, legal, and vendor contracting processes.
- Expertise designing approval workflows, clause libraries, and document automation frameworks.
- Experience architecting large-scale contract management ecosystems across multiple business units.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 and $155,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
