Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned consultant with strong utility domain expertise combined with data platform and AI capabilities (Palantir Foundry & AIP) to drive end-to-end transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage deep understanding of the utility value chain, including Meter-to-Cash (M2C), Customer Analytics, and Outage Analytics, to deliver improvements in revenue assurance, customer experience, and grid reliability
- Design and implement ontology-driven data models in Foundry, including defining object types, link types, and action types, and exposing them for downstream applications and AIP use cases
- Develop and manage data pipelines leveraging Foundry’s data layer, including datasets, transactions, schema evolution, and incremental vs. snapshot transformations, ensuring data quality and reliability
- Build and operationalize AI-powered solutions using AIP, including Logic, Agents, Assist, and Automate, with function-backed objects and actions
- Apply prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and tool/function integration to enable scalable and production-grade AI applications
- Utilize Foundry applications such as Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Code Workbook, Contour, Object Explorer, Workshop, Quiver, and Slate to deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate domain requirements into scalable data and AI solutions aligned to business outcomes
- Drive best practices in data governance, lineage, and dataset health management
Preferred Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in utilities, data engineering, analytics, or digital transformation programs
- Strong exposure to utility operations and processes (billing, customer engagement, outage management)
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or similar modern data platforms
- Experience in AI/ML and enterprise AI platforms, preferably AIP or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
*Travel: willingness to travel extensively as client needs require.
Required Education & Work Authorization:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s strongly preferred.
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Salary & Compensation:
Salary: Applications will be accepted until July 23rd, 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $81,450.00 – $129,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Incentives: Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to applicable plan terms.
