About the role - Description
Purpose
This role will be working as part of the New catering system implementation programme , and responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies and activities that maximize employee engagement and adoption of new ways of working within Operations. The catering Operations division is a fast paced and dynamic environment, and the Manager Change will need to be able to develop strategies that can adapt to meet the evolving needs.
Accountabilities
Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to support employees and
key stakeholders to adopt change across Operational departments .
Conduct change impact and readiness assessments by stakeholder group, evaluating the results to
develop implementation approaches and plans which meet the specific needs of different groups.
Ability to come up with creative approaches to embed change across departments with very different
needs (for example; large workforces, not captive and on shift).
Provide advice and recommendations and to senior leaders about how to approach change for
programmes specific to their area.
Develop and deliver communication plans for change programmes, identifying and aligning
communication needs of stakeholders to project milestones, and developing associated messaging.
Develop communications collateral e.g., SharePoint sites, FAQ libraries etc
Identify change risks and define change mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on go
live/programme implementations.
Undertake stakeholder analysis and execute stakeholder engagement strategies.
Define change success metrics and use them to measure and monitor change progress.
Coach project teams and business representatives in managing change.
Develop change champion networks across Operations.
Education & Experience
Airline experience is preferable
Bachelor’s degree level education.
Must have a minimum of 7 years experience delivering large scale business transformation focused on
stakeholder management and change enablement, preferably within a n operation or an aviation
environment .
Demonstrated experience in fostering a culture of change and strategic communications planning.
Extensive knowledge of change management theory, design, and execution.
Excellent command of English language, written and oral .
