Job Summary
The software engineer role focuses on designing developing and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using core Java and related technologies Automation Tools Confluence JIRA in a hybrid work model . The position requires three to five years of hands on experience delivering robust solutions that align with business objectives and quality standards while collaborating with cross functional teams and contributing to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Domain Experience in Travel Quality Assurance
- Develop robust and maintainable core Java components that support scalable enterprise applications and meet evolving business needs
- Implement clean efficient and reusable code that adheres to internal coding standards and promotes long term application stability
- Analyze functional and technical requirements to design practical solutions that align with project scope and quality expectations
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to clarify requirements estimate effort and plan incremental delivery of software features
- Troubleshoot application defects by performing root cause analysis and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence of similar issues
- Perform unit testing integration testing and regression testing to ensure each release meets defined quality and performance criteria
- Optimize application performance by profiling code tuning resource intensive modules and enhancing responsiveness under peak load
- Contribute to code reviews by providing constructive feedback that improves code quality testability and adherence to best practices
- Create clear technical documentation that describes system design data flows configuration steps and operational guidelines for future reference
- Support deployment activities by preparing build artifacts validating configurations and assisting operations teams during release windows
- Apply secure coding practices in all development tasks to safeguard data integrity privacy and regulatory compliance in production systems
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning standups and retrospectives to improve team collaboration delivery predictability and process efficiency
- Research emerging Java frameworks tools and practices to recommend enhancements that modernize the technology stack and improve developer productivity
Qualifications
- Demonstrate solid experience using core Java features including collections concurrency input output and exception handling in real world projects
- Exhibit practical knowledge of Java ecosystem tools such as build automation frameworks testing libraries and dependency management utilities
- Show familiarity with relational databases and structured query language concepts to design schemas write queries and integrate data access layers
- Apply object oriented design principles such as encapsulation abstraction and modularity to create maintainable and extensible software components
- Utilize version control systems to manage code branches handle merges and maintain a clear history of changes across collaborative projects
- Display strong problem solving and analytical skills that enable efficient diagnosis of defects and effective design of technical solutions
- Communicate clearly with peers stakeholders and quality teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements constraints and delivery milestones
