As a Senior ServiceNow Developer Engineer, you will make an impact by analyzing business requirements, designing scalable technical solutions, and developing high-quality applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow Development Team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze business and system requirements, identifying program interactions and interfaces between impacted systems and components.
- Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform.
- Lead and coordinate assigned development projects, including task allocation, progress tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Develop integrations using technologies such as REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Integration Hub, and orchestration solutions.
- Recommend and implement best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to improve platform capabilities and business outcomes.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and platform administration.
- Strong experience developing with JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as GRC/IRM and Service Portal development.
- Experience building integrations using REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Integration Hub, and related technologies.
- Proficiency with Service Portal, UI Builder, Configurable Workspace, Now Experience Framework, Flow Designer, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
- Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, or on-call rotations as required.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- ServiceNow GRC/IRM certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, or related platform capabilities.
- Experience developing custom scoped applications and enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Previous experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring junior developers.
- Knowledge of software testing, validation practices, and project management methodologies.
