Front-End Developer
About the role
As a Front-End Developer, you will make an impact by designing and developing intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user experiences for a clinical protocol authoring platform. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with product managers, UX designers, clinical and regulatory stakeholders, security teams, and platform engineers to deliver modern digital experiences that support clinical research and regulatory processes. In this role, you will:
- Design and develop modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and enterprise front-end technologies.
- Build user-friendly interfaces that support protocol authoring, content management, review workflows, approvals, and collaborative editing experiences.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST and GraphQL services, identity platforms, workflow engines, and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure solutions meet accessibility, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and user requirements into innovative technical solutions.

What you need to have to be considered
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on front-end development.
- Extensive experience with React and TypeScript, or comparable experience with Angular or Vue.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and web performance optimization.
- Experience developing reusable UI components, design systems, and enterprise-scale web applications.
- Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL integrations, API consumption, and state management patterns.
- Experience implementing secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and code quality tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
These will help you stand out
- Experience within Life Sciences, Clinical Development, or Regulatory Technology environments.
- Knowledge of clinical protocol authoring, medical writing, or structured content management platforms.
- Familiarity with ICH M11, CDISC USDM, or other clinical data standards.
- Experience with collaborative editing solutions, document-centric applications, and workflow-driven platforms.
- Understanding of compliance requirements related to GxP, audit trails, electronic records, data integrity, and privacy regulations.
