About the Role
As a Test Manager (P&C Insurance – Guidewire), you will make an impact by leading the QA strategy and test management for a strategic insurance product initiative, ensuring quality is embedded across every stage of a large-scale insurance transformation program. You will be a valued member of the Delivery/QA team, working collaboratively with Business SMEs, Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Leads.
In this role, you will:
- Lead test planning, estimation, resource forecasting, and overall QA strategy for the program.
- Support discovery activities through requirements analysis, scope assessment, and quality planning.
- Establish QA team structure, delivery approach, governance, and quality standards.
- Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and testing impacts across business and technology streams.
- Collaborate closely with Business SMEs, Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery Leads to ensure quality is embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- A strong track record as a Test Manager on large-scale insurance transformation programs.
- Solid knowledge of P&C Insurance products and policy lifecycle processes.
- Deep hands-on Guidewire product expertise, including Product Model, Rating, Underwriting, Documents, Integrations, and Workflows.
- A track record supporting discovery and inception activities, including effort estimation, solution assessment, and resource planning.
- Demonstrated ability building and leading QA teams, defining test strategies, and establishing quality governance frameworks.
