We are currently hiring for this role at two seniority levels to support the growth of our team. We welcome applications from both experienced Data Analysts and more senior professionals, with responsibilities and scope tailored accordingly. The role offers opportunities to work on complex, high-impact projects, with expectations adjusted based on experience, including ownership, stakeholder engagement, and analytical depth. Candidates will be assessed and aligned to the appropriate level during the interview process.
Core Responsibilities
1. Technical Business Intelligence Leadership & End to End Ownership
2. Stakeholder Management, Basic Project Management and Excellent written & verbal communication in English
3. Advanced Data Analysis and Insight Generation
4. Efficient & Scalable Data Infrastructure Design, Implementation, Optimization and QC
5. Geo Spatial Data or Massive Internet Data Product Understanding, Experience or Initiatives
6. Excellent problem solving ability with a mindset to quickly adapt to dynamic business needs and nuances
Required Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional technical work experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in SQL development, advanced data analysis, data visualization, and Business Intelligence strategy development within a corporate environment.
3. Essential: Proven expertise in architecting and maintaining interactive data dashboards using leading BI tools (e.g., BigQuery, Spark SQL, Amazon Redshift, Tableau Server) and a strong portfolio demonstrating complex reporting and visualization solutions.
4. Demonstrated mastery in developing and optimizing code projects using SQL/BigQuery with a focus on logical data manipulation and automation. Experience with python/ R is good to have but not required.
5. Exceptional leadership, verbal, and written English communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex, high-stakes data findings to executive-level audiences and manage cross-functional stakeholder expectations.
6. Highly Desirable: Extensive domain knowledge and proven experience working with large-scale, complex geospatial datasets or in the maps/navigation industry.
