About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated PeopleSoft Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting our PeopleSoft environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft components, including Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, SSL, and middleware on Windows infrastructure.
- Perform PeopleSoft bundle patching, maintenance updates, and People Tools upgrades.
- Monitor the PeopleSoft environment for system performance, resource utilisation, and availability; carry out proactive performance tuning.
- Provide application and technical support, including bug fixes and remediation for vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PeopleSoft environment, covering network, software, hardware, operating system, middleware, and connectivity.
- Develop, implement, and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for PeopleSoft databases and applications.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to support technical and operational requirements.
- Develop and implement scripts and automation for routine administration, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage user administration, security configuration, role management, and access control within the PeopleSoft environment.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent relevant qualification or certification.
Experience & Skills
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft administration.
- Completed at least one PeopleTools upgrade within the last 2 years.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous and organized approach to work.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in administering and configuring Pathlock.
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Positive work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
Advantageous Experience
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud environments.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience managing Windows operating systems.
