Pre-Sales Consultant for Industry 4.0 Solutions
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Pre-Sales Consultant / Architects to join our team, specializing in Industry 4.0 solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, IoT, and advanced manufacturing technologies, with a proven track record in pre-sales activities and envisioning I4.0solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Client Engagement and Requirement Analysis: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements. Conduct thorough requirement analysis to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.
· Solution Design and Presentation: Develop and present customized Industry 4.0 solutions, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our products. Prepare detailed proposals and technical documentation to support sales activities.
· Technical Support and Demonstrations: Provide technical support during the sales process, including conducting product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and answering technical queries from clients.
· Collaboration with Sales and Engineering Teams: Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for winning new business. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions are feasible and align with product capabilities.
· Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and competitors in the Industry4.0 space. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and strategies for differentiation.
Skills
- At least 10 yrs+ experience in designing solutions for shopfloor operations with bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Expertise in OT technologies such as PLC, Unified Namespace, IT/OT integration, Cloud, and AI technologies.
- Strong domain knowledge in at least one of the following: Auto, Discrete Manufacturing, Pharma, Consumer Goods, with experience in Operations, Maintenance, and Quality value streams.
- Experienced atleast in one of manufacturing Operation applications like MES, EAM, LIMS etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and travel to site location based on the need
- Ability to speak and write Japanese (native level / JPT 1 OR JPT 2 level) and English.
