About the Role

As a Senior Manager – Consulting (Manufacturing/Industrial), you will make an impact by leading business transformation for clients across the value chain—from sourcing & procurement to manufacturing and distribution. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities (MLEU) Consulting unit in the Americas and work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional Cognizant teams to deliver strategic outcomes.

In this Role, You Will

· Lead transformation programs for industrial/manufacturing clients, including configure-to-order and process-oriented environments.

· Provide strategic guidance and tailored solutions across operations, supply chain, and continuous improvement.

· Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and operational excellence.

· Develop supply chain strategies: inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies; measure value realization.

· Manage senior client relationships (Director/VP level), ensuring delivery quality and stakeholder alignment.

· Drive thought leadership (white papers, workshops, webinars) and represent Cognizant in industry forums.

What You Must Have to Be Considered

· 12+ years of consulting and/or industry experience in manufacturing/industrial sectors.

· Proven expertise in configure-to-order and process-oriented environments.

· Excellent client-facing capabilities with a track record for selling and delivering consulting engagements.

· Experience engaging Director/VP-level stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.

· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

· Knowledge of R&D/PLM/Integrated Design & Manufacturing.

· Strong leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.

· Demonstrated experience authoring thought leadership and speaking at industry events.

Compensation

Pay Transparency: Salary range for this position is $98,853- $ 134,500annually.

This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
