JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Manage and troubleshooting Cisco LAN environment
· Manage and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki WLAN environment
· Manage and troubleshooting Citrix load balancers
· Manage and troubleshooting WAN product and technologies (CISCO VIPTELA SD WAN)
· Technical expertise on Cisco routing and switching concepts
· Technical expertise on Zenoss and Solarwinds – NCM, NPA, NTA and IPAM modules
· Interact and co-ordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams
· Capacity planning and reporting
· Participate in internal meetings to represent Network team
· Good communication, email and presentation skills
· Good ITIL process knowledge
· Technical knowledge on Azure networking shall be added advantage
· Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, rack layouts, topologies, processes and procedures
· Design, deploy, configure and administer the LAN ( Routers, Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls ) WAN and WLAN infrastructure and their supporting systems
• Recommend upgrades, patches and equipment’s when needed to address potential security holes and vulnerabilities
• Proactive monitoring of all network devices and links using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and SLA’s
• Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
• Understand and analyze the current network structure and share ideas on how to make the network more efficient
• Work closely with team members to determine future network needs and plan for network changes
• Create projects that are designed to either meet functional requirements or to address ongoing network failure issues
• Interfacing with fellow team members to manage and assist problems
• Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans
• Require continuous learning and to maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies
• Research, evaluate and recommend technologies to support business requirements
• Follow ITIL principles
• Provide on-call and weekend support when necessary
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
