This role is part of Cognizant IOA (Intelligent Operations and Automation), the division leading the transformation from traditional BPO to AI-powered operations. What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our fast-growing Delivery Team. Our team builds and validates automation agents and intelligent workflows across multiple customer environments. You will support the quality of AI and non-AI agents used in real-world business processes, from browser automation to system integrations.
You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and customers to test newly created agents, guide clients during test sessions, provide Level 1 support, and ensure our delivery maintains the highest quality standards.

What will you be doing?
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
Perform manual testing of automation agents and end-to-end workflows
Review functional requirements and create clear, structured test cases
Execute test sessions directly with customers, assisting them during validation
Provide Level 1 support, identifying issues, answering questions, and escalating appropriately
Identify, document, and track defects with precise reproduction details
Support regression testing and validation before go live.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams
Contribute to continuous quality improvement across the Delivery practice

You independently execute testing cycles that deliver reliable, high-quality agents to customers
You maintain outstanding standards in documentation, clarity of communication, and defect reporting
Customers feel supported, well-guided, and confident during test sessions
What makes you a great fit
Must have:
Excellent English (C1+) with exceptional written and verbal communication
prior experience as a Manual QA in an Agile environment
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect management
Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing deliverables
High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
Comfortable interacting directly with customers in testing and support contexts
Nice to have:
Experience testing browser-based workflows
Familiarity with automation concepts, RPA, or scripting
Understanding of REST APIs or system integrations
Interest in AI agents and prompt engineering
Exposure to continuous testing or CI/CD pipelines
