Cognizant’s RCGH Consulting unit is seeking talented consultants with extensive domain experience coupled with consultative experience of executing large scale business change and IT solutions in the RCGH industries. PMO required to support IT project/program management for complex platform technology change programmes from inception to closure with globally distributed team(s).
The ideal candidate will be expected to bring strong PMO background in retail industry, experience in working in any of the key areas of retail that include: Customer Experience, Omni channel, Supply Chain Management. Experience of delivering one or more fixed time, fixed price or SLA based managed services engagements. Have knowledge of two or more effort and cost estimation methodologies/frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, maintaining and assuring all Programme governance, controls and processes, templates and tools.
These controls will include: governance; reporting; planning; risks, issues, assumptions & dependencies (RAID); financial and resource budgeting; scope/change; and, quality assurance/audit.
Manage timely and successful delivery of the project working with cross-functional teams to manage risks, and measure and report on progress.
Regular review, maintenance and reporting of Programme, project and work stream financial and resource budgets, actuals and forecasts.
Overall coordination with PMO on all portfolio reporting.
Articulate the overall project risk and risk mitigation plan and make it transparent to the relevant stakeholders
Ability to manage and increase team velocity, measure efficiency at team and individual level
Contribute to technology and business stakeholder management participating in whatever appropriate communications may be required.
Support business development activities in the form of gathering best practices for RFI/RFP responses and writing proposals, developing service offerings, training and knowledge management
Desired Skills:
Strong years of experience in PMO roles
Strong hands-on experience in IT project / program management for complex platform technology change programmes from inception to closure with globally distributed team
Strong commercial acumen i.e. pricing models, forecast, budgeting, delivery P&L etc.
Experience in developing project report frameworks, utilising thoughtful user-focused design that are simple for stakeholders to update and visualisations to senior leaders and sponsors
Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with and influencing diverse stakeholders at senior levels across multiple business functions
PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
