Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure technologies including Encryption Load Balancer Pipelines and more. This role involves designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions to support our business objectives. The position is hybrid with no travel required focusing on day shifts.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Manage Infrastructure Systems: Architect cloud and data center environments ensuring performance reliability network load balancing and security across platforms.
- Disaster Recovery & Resiliency: Build DR strategies recovery architectures and high availability designs for critical workloads.
- Optimize Infrastructure & Networks: Drive continuous improvement tuning capacity planning and advanced troubleshooting for complex environments (e.g. wireless enterprise networks).
- Implement Automation & IaC: Leverage scripting and Infrastructure as Code to streamline provisioning configuration and operations.
- Cross Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering operations and security teams to ensure robust systems and successful modernization initiatives.
Required Skills
Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) data center infrastructure networking and virtualization.
Expertise in network protocols SDN WiFi/RF principles (for infra-heavy roles) and large scale network architecture.
Proficiency in automation IaC (Terraform scripting) monitoring and observability.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities.
Experience with Linux/UNIX/Windows environments and security/compliance standards

Salary and Other Compensation:
The Salary for this position will be 99,000 to 116 ,000 early depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
