Salesforce Omni Studio Lead
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Omni Studio Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
In this role, you will:
· Lead the development and deployment of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales, Experience, Financial Services, etc.).
· Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
· Configure Salesforce features (Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, Validation Rules, Custom Settings).
· Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and integrations using SOQL/SOSL.
· Design and implement OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
· Build integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
· Manage DevOps processes including code management, metadata migration, and CI/CD pipelines.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to offshore teams.
· Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrums, sprint planning) to ensure timely delivery.

What you must have to be considered:
· 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience and overall 8+ Years of experience.
· Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and managed apps (e.g., nCino).
· Strong expertise in the Salesforce platform, including Lightning components (LWC) and Apex.
· Experience working on multiple Salesforce products, i.e. Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, etc.
· Hands-on experience with OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
· Proficiency in Salesforce APIs, data modeling, and integration tools.
· Demonstrated ability to lead offshore teams and manage client interactions.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
These will help you stand out:
· Certified Force.com Developer (DEV-401) or Platform Developer I
· Certified Force.com Advanced Developer (DEV-501) or Platform Developer 2
· Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Knockout / Aura
· Experience with building or enhancing applications to run on mobile platform
· Expertise working with the Mulesoft API development
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 83,600– $ 129,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
