About the role
As a Facets Technical Lead, you will make an impact by designing, enhancing, and modernizing healthcare applications that support critical payer operations. You will be a valued member of a cross‑functional technology team and work collaboratively with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, API‑driven solutions and introduce AI‑enabled capabilities that reduce manual validation and improve operational efficiency.
In this role, you will:
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Microsoft .NET–based applications and APIs supporting Facets platforms
Drive technical solutioning and hands-on development for Facets integrations and customizations
Apply AI and generative AI technologies (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based solutions) to modernize existing workflows and reduce manual validation efforts
Analyze and support end-to-end healthcare transactions, ensuring accuracy, performance, and compliance
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and downstream teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions

What you need to have to be considered
Strong experience with Microsoft .NET development, including API design and enhancement
Hands-on Facets experience supporting healthcare payer systems
Proven ability to understand and work with healthcare transactions and data flows
Experience applying AI or automation technologies (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based development) within enterprise applications
Ability to lead technical discussions and guide solution decisions in a complex environment
These will help you stand out
Experience modernizing legacy healthcare platforms using AI-enabled or automation-driven approaches
Familiarity with healthcare payer operations and regulatory considerations
Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous-improvement mindset
Experience working in distributed or remote agile teams
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $90K - $105K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
