About the role
As a Sr. Automation Test Engineer – Playwright with Typescript, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing automated testing solutions that ensure quality, reliability, and scalability across enterprise technology platforms. You will be a valued member of a cross functional engineering team and collaborate closely with developers, QA, and platform stakeholders to deliver high quality software outcomes.

In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
• Design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Write and execute simple to medium SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity
• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot automated test failures, identifying root causes and recommending solutions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand enterprise technology stacks and testing requirements
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to improve code quality, maintainability, and testability
• Continuously improve automation tools, processes, and best practices to enhance overall testing effectiveness

Work model

What you need to have to be considered
• 5–7 years of experience in a test automation development role using Playwright and TypeScript
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for enterprise applications
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and integrity checks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced team environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience using GitHub Copilot within Visual Studio Code
• Understanding of prompt and context engineering concepts
• Exposure to multiple AI interaction modes such as plan, agent, and ask
• Experience optimizing test automation strategies for large scale enterprise platforms
