Job Summary
This role involves managing data science projects driving analytics strategies and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions. The Manager-Data Science will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance organizational performance through data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of data science strategies to address complex business challenges and opportunities.
- Oversee the design and execution of predictive models machine learning algorithms and statistical analyses to derive actionable insights.
- Provide guidance to the team in identifying trends patterns and correlations within large datasets to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy reliability and scalability of data science models and solutions.
- Drive innovation by exploring new tools techniques and methodologies in the field of data science and analytics.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of data science projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance the analytical capabilities of team members and stakeholders.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data science solutions into existing systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data science processes methodologies and outcomes.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization by showcasing the impact of analytics and insights.
- Manage project timelines resources and deliverables to ensure successful execution of data science initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with data privacy and security regulations while handling sensitive information. Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in analytics including predictive modeling statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Demonstrate proficiency in analytics and insights with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Have a solid understanding of data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate findings.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Showcase strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Hold a proven track record of managing data science projects and delivering impactful results.
- Display knowledge of programming languages such as Python R or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Demonstrate familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and tools.
- Have experience in mentoring and guiding teams to achieve their full potential.
- Show commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and analytics.
