Job Description:
The role is part of the Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure and Security (CIS) Services BU Solution Group, which involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities of solutions around Infrastructure in the space of Managed Services & Transformation etc across all verticals. The individual will be closely working with onsite sales, solutions and delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, workshops, due diligence etc.
Skills:
• Techno commercial capability with Customer interaction & solution presentation skills.
• Good IT infrastructure technical understanding covering areas such as: Compute (On-prem & Cloud), Network, Security, End User and Service Management including Managed Services & Digital Transformations.
• Good knowledge on various service assurance, automation tools, ITIL / ITSM process.
• Good knowledge on various pricing models, IT spend analysis, business case development, TCO and ROI analysis.
• Proven track-record of working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating strong complex problem-solving skills.
• Detail and articulation of solutions and ensure proposal completeness.
• Good knowledge on industry IT trends, Analyst reports and various TPA processes such as Gartner, Everest, Forrester, ISG, BCG, HfS, IDC etc.
• Should be Independent Contributor and an effective Team Player who is a self-starter.
Responsibilities:
• End to end responsibility of Solution & commercials creation and integration including conducting workshops for scoping, questionnaire and solution discussions.
• Collaboratively work with all internal and external stakeholders in designing a winnable solution.
• Responsible for creation of differentiated solutions that meets the customer requirements.
• Formulate re-usable bid components to achieve maximum utilization.
• Develop winning themes, SWOT and competitor analysis for the pursuit.
• Lead solution workshop, MVD / CAS sessions, Due Diligence and various pursuit related workshops and interface with client and TPA.
• Developed various templates and frameworks for strategic pursuit management including reusable and reference materials.
• Manage and mentor a team of junior and mid-level solution managers.
Profile:
• Experience in cross-cultural and Top 10 outsourcing organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem).
• Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution.
• Able to respond to and resolve client queries and requests in a timely manner.
• A flexible approach with “Can do” attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong IT market awareness and knowledge or emerging trends and technologies.
• Always exudes enthusiasm and optimism.
• Focused on delivering a high-quality solution to clients, both internal and external.
• Self-motivated with a flexible and dynamic style.
• Able to shape effective, creative and innovative solutions, deliverable at acceptable business profit levels.
• Effective project/ time management skills.
• Must be fully flexible and mobile.s
• Flexibility to accommodate short domestic and international business travel up to 2 months.
• Should not have any earlier Business Visa rejections or entry restrictions.
