About the role

The Senior Facets Product Specialist – G6 AWS Implementation is responsible for the hands on setup, configuration, and validation of TriZetto Facets G6 environments deployed on AWS. This role focuses on executing Facets G6 implementation activities, supporting environment build out, region creation, and readiness for system testing and go live.

The Senior Specialist works under the guidance of a Lead or Architect and plays a critical role in ensuring Facets G6 environments are built correctly, validated thoroughly, and aligned with implementation standards.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Facets G6 Environment Implementation

  • Execute Facets G6 environment build activities on AWS EKS as part of implementation projects.
  • Perform Facets region creation, redeploy, and validation activities in support of new implementations.
  • Configure and validate Facets Task Controller on AWS‑hosted Windows instances.
  • Support setup of Facets G6 components including:
    • fasvc and hgsvc services
    • broker services
    • batch engines
    • web and interactive components
  • Assist in ensuring environment readiness across DEV, SIT, UAT, PERF, and PROD.

Implementation Validation & Testing Support

  • Perform implementation validation activities, including:
    • Pod and service validation
    • Batch job execution validation
    • Services and interactive runtime checks
  • Support testing teams by verifying Facets behavior across implementation scenarios.
  • Identify and document configuration issues or gaps and engage Leads for resolution.

CLI, KUBECTL & PowerShell (Hands‑On Execution)

  • Use CLI‑based tools as a core part of daily implementation work, including:
    • kubectl for Kubernetes verification and diagnostics
    • AWS CLI for environment validation and basic AWS interactions
  • Use PowerShell (pwsh) to:
    • Execute Facets G6 region creation and configuration scripts
    • Support Task Controller setup and validation workflows
  • Follow established implementation scripts, runbooks, and standards.

Collaboration & Delivery Support

  • Work closely with Lead Product Consultants, cloud engineers, and DevOps teams during implementation.
  • Participate in design walkthroughs, build reviews, and readiness checkpoints.
  • Document implementation steps, findings, and handover notes for downstream teams.
  • Support clean handoff of environments to testing and operations teams post‑implementation.

What you need to have to be considered

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills

  • Strong command‑line (CLI) experience in enterprise system environments.
  • Hands‑on experience using KUBECTL for Kubernetes‑based application validation.
  • Working experience with PowerShell (pwsh) in Windows‑based environments.
  • Experience supporting AWS‑hosted platforms, preferably AWS EKS.
  • Practical experience with TriZetto Facets (G6 exposure strongly preferred).

Facets Implementation Knowledge

  • Understanding of Facets architecture and runtime concepts, including:
    • Region constructs
    • Batch execution model
    • Services and interactive runtime
  • Ability to follow Facets implementation guides and validation checklists accurately. [BCBSMN_Fac...Checklist | Word]

Professional Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute implementation tasks consistently.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in structured implementation teams.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into lead‑level responsibilities.

Experience & Education

  • 5–10+ years of healthcare IT experience.
  • Prior experience as a Facets Configuration Analyst, Product Specialist, or Implementation Consultant.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience supporting Facets G6 implementations on AWS.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes‑based deployments.
  • Familiarity with implementation validation, cutover preparation, and go‑live activities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/04/26.

The annual salary for this position is between $61,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
