About the role
The Lead Facets Product Consultant – G6 AWS Implementation is responsible for leading the design, setup, and delivery of TriZetto Facets G6 implementations on AWS. This role drives the initial environment build, configuration, validation, and go‑live readiness of containerized Facets G6 solutions deployed on AWS EKS.
The Lead Consultant serves as the implementation authority for Facets G6 on AWS, combining deep Facets product expertise with strong CLI‑driven technical skills to ensure new environments are built correctly, configured consistently, and handed over ready for production use.
In this role, you will:
Key Responsibilities
Facets G6 AWS Implementation Leadership
- Lead end‑to‑end Facets G6 implementations on AWS, from environment design through go‑live readiness.
- Own implementation standards, build patterns, and configuration approaches for Facets G6 on AWS.
- Serve as the primary technical lead for Facets G6 AWS implementations, guiding onshore and offshore teams.
Review and approve implementation designs to ensure scalability, compliance, and alignment with Facets best practices.
Environment Build & Configuration (AWS)
- Lead and perform Facets G6 environment setup on AWS EKS for new implementations.
- Configure and validate:
- Facets G6 containerized runtime
- Facets Task Controller on AWS‑hosted Windows instances
- Initial Facets regions and runtime components
- Oversee setup of fasvc, hgsvc, broker, batch engines, web, and interactive services.
- Ensure environments are implementation‑ready across DEV, SIT, UAT, PERF, and PROD.
Implementation Validation & Readiness
- Drive implementation validation activities, including:
- Environment health checks
- Region creation and redeploy validation
- Batch execution and services runtime verification
- Validate Facets G6 configurations align to:
- Functional design requirements
- Performance and scalability expectations
- AWS and Kubernetes deployment standards
- Lead cutover preparation and go‑live readiness activities.
CLI, KUBECTL & PowerShell (Implementation Focus)
- Use CLI‑based tooling as a core implementation skill, including:
- kubectl for Kubernetes validation and deployment verification
- AWS CLI for AWS‑side validation and environment checks
- Use PowerShell (pwsh) extensively to:
- Execute Facets G6 region creation and configuration scripts
- Support Task Controller setup and validation
- Perform implementation checks and environment verification
- Ensure all implementation activities are repeatable, documented, and aligned to standards.
Cross‑Functional Delivery
- Partner with cloud engineering, DevOps, DBA, and Facets functional teams during implementation.
- Support client workshops, walkthroughs, and design reviews related to Facets G6 AWS deployment.
- Provide technical leadership during implementation milestones, design sign‑offs, and cutover events.
- Ensure a clean and structured handover to operations / AMS teams post‑go‑live.

What you need to have to be considered
Required Skills & Experience
Core / Must‑Have Skills
- Expert command‑line (CLI) proficiency in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with KUBECTL for Facets G6 deployment validation.
- Advanced PowerShell (pwsh) experience supporting Facets G6 setup and configuration.
- Strong experience with AWS EKS‑based platforms.
- Hands‑on implementation experience with TriZetto Facets G6 or containerized Facets runtime.
Facets Implementation Expertise
- Deep understanding of Facets G6 architecture, including:
- Task Controller
- Region constructs
- Batch engines and runtime services
- Proven ability to translate implementation designs into working Facets G6 environments.
Leadership & Delivery Skills
- Experience leading Facets implementations or platform build initiatives.
- Strong ability to guide and mentor consultants during implementation phases.
- Clear communication with clients, delivery leadership, and technical teams.
- Strong documentation skills for build guides, implementation standards, and handover artifacts.
Experience & Education
- 5-10+ years of healthcare IT experience.
- Significant experience delivering Facets implementations and cloud‑based healthcare platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
These will help you stand out
- Extensive experience implementing Facets G6 on AWS EKS.
- Experience supporting Facets upgrades, conversions, or cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with Terraform or IaC from an implementation and design standpoint.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 5/04/26.
The annual salary for this position is between $61,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
