Senior D365 Marketing Solution Architect: Journeys and Data

As a Senior D365 Marketing Solution Architect, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end architecture and delivery of Dynamics 365 Marketing and Customer Insights Journeys and Data. You will own the marketing technology stack, real-time journey design, data architecture, and integration strategy, collaborating across CRM, digital channels, and enterprise systems to drive measurable outcomes. You will be a valued member of our CIS Microsoft Business Group and work collaboratively with the Program Director.

In this role, you will:
Architecture and Solution Design
• Define and own the end-to-end solution architecture for D365 Marketing CI Journeys and Customer Insights Data
• Design real-time journeys, event triggers, segmentation frameworks, and personalization logic at enterprise scale
• Architect data ingestion, identity resolution, consent management, and governance models

Data and Integration Leadership
• Lead data modeling across Dataverse, CI Data, Azure Data Lake, and external systems
• Define integration patterns using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Hub
• Drive data quality, profile unification, and analytics pipelines for journey performance insights

Delivery and Stakeholder Leadership
• Guide cross-functional teams including consultants, developers, and data engineers through the full delivery lifecycle
• Lead discovery workshops, translate business requirements into technical designs, and present roadmaps to executives
• Enforce Microsoft best practices, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure solution quality

Required skills
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Journeys, with expert-level functional and technical proficiency
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Data including ingestion, unification, and segmentation
• 15+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, with deep expertise across the platform
• 5+ years working with Azure PaaS services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Hub
• Proven track record designing real-time journeys, event-based triggers, and multi-channel orchestration
• Strong grasp of data governance, consent, privacy, and compliance including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and HIPAA
• Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale implementations and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders

Preferred skills
• Experience in large enterprises or regulated industries; Med Tech background is a plus
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure
• Familiarity with D365 Sales, Power Automate, Azure DevOps, and marketing analytics or attribution frameworks
• Experience mentoring delivery teams or leading technical workstreams

Total compensation
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD $129,000 to $150,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.

Working arrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Ontario and/or Nova Scotia, where our hubs are located.
