Job Summary

This role involves working on medical coding within the healthcare domain ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The candidate will contribute to improving healthcare product processes and quality while adhering to organizational goals. The hybrid work model offers flexibility and the role is focused on day shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate medical coding for healthcare products ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses procedures and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coding accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide detailed documentation and reports on coding activities to support organizational goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of coding policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in coding processes to support healthcare product quality and compliance.
  • Participate in audits and quality checks to identify and rectify coding errors or inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline coding workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Support team members with coding expertise and provide training when necessary.
  • Utilize healthcare product knowledge to align coding practices with product specifications and requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of coding processes.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and ethical standards while performing coding tasks.

  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proficiency in medical coding with hands-on experience in healthcare products.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to interpret medical records and assign accurate codes.
  • Showcase expertise in healthcare regulations and coding guidelines such as ICD-10 and CPT.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and teams.
  • Display attention to detail to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding within the healthcare domain.
  • Show adaptability to work in a hybrid model and manage day shift responsibilities effectively.
  • Bring a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address coding discrepancies and challenges.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
