Senior Test Automation Engineer – Playwright & TypeScript
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and enhance modern automation frameworks that improve quality, speed, and confidence across enterprise applications. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and intelligent test automation solutions.

In this role, you will
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, leveraging AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, and Claude to enhance productivity and framework quality.
• Create and execute SQL queries (simple to medium complexity) to validate data accuracy, integrity, and system behavior across environments.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand complex enterprise technology stacks and translate requirements into robust automation strategies.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and partner with development teams to drive timely and effective resolution.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve automation processes, tooling, and best practices to expand test coverage and efficiency.

What you need to have
• 8 to 10 years of experience in a test automation engineering role using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude) to enhance automation frameworks or code quality.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, with experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in fast paced, cross functional teams.
