About the role

As a Technical Full Stack Educator (FSE) you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Corporate Learning & Development team, collaborating with in-house Full Stack Educator ecosystem who own end-to-end learning life-cycle. Technical Full Stack Educator owns the design, delivery, quality, and continuous improvement of end-to-end full stack technology skilling across entry level talent (GenCs – Generation Cognizant), all Cognizant associates, and client teams over time. The role blends deep hands-on engineering expertise, trainer governance, assessment rigor, and AI-enabled learning innovation to ensure all associates are enabled across the tech skills like frontend, backend, databases, cloud, testing, DevOps, and AI-assisted development.

In this role, you will:

Design & build learning

  • Design end-to-end full stack learning journeys covering frontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud, testing, and DevOps
  • Create hands-on labs, mini-projects, capstones, and enterprise-grade simulations
  • Continuously modernize content using latest frameworks, GenAI tools, and automation

Deliver & inspire

· Deliver high-impact classroom, virtual, and blended learning programs

· Conduct live coding, debugging deep dives, and architecture walkthroughs

· Enable learners to demo, present, and defend technical solutions

Assess & enable readiness

· Design and execute coding challenges, assessments, and real-world projects, industry evaluations

· Provide clear, actionable feedback and mentoring plans

· Enable certification readiness, internal skill validation, and project deployment

Mentor at scale

· Act as a technical coach, guiding associates from learning to client readiness

· Reinforce enterprise coding standards, design thinking, and best practices

· Partner with multiple stakeholders, BU, Corporate functions to ensure learner success

Improve with data

· Track skill readiness, engagement, and assessment outcomes

· Use insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness

· Contribute to leadership dashboards and readiness metrics

What you must have to be considered

  • Experience: 3-6 years of strong expertise in technical skills, facilitation, and adult learning principles, especially for entry‑level talent

· Full stack capabilities in at least 1 one of the technologies (Java / .NET / C# / Python / COBOL) with strong hands-on proficiency across programming, frontend, backend, database, cloud and DevOps, testing, AI tools and frameworks.

Programming: Java / .NET / C# / Python / COBOL

Frontend: React / Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Backend: Java (Spring Boot) / .NET / Node.js / Python

Databases: SQL, Oracle SQL, MongoDB

Testing: Selenium, unit testing, automation fundamentals

Cloud & DevOps: AWS / Azure / GCP, Git, CI/CD, Containers

AI & GenAI (mandatory): GenAI tools, AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, RAG, and automation frameworks — active proficiency and periodic upskilling required

  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to interpret learning analytics and convert insights into measurable improvements.
  • Innovation mindset with the ability to blend technology, and AI into impactful learning experiences.
  • Willing to travel across Cognizant locations where GenC batches are onboarded
  • A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.

These will help you succeed

  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI fundamentals, AI literacy, responsible AI usage, and applied GenAI tools in workplace learning. Must actively upskill on emerging AI capabilities on a periodic basis to remain relevant and current.
  • Proven experience in conceptualizing and building AI‑enabled learning solutions, apps, or agents.

Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a Cognizant office in Chennai, Siruseri, Tamil Nadu.
