About the role

As a ServiceNow Practice Lead – Employee Experience, you will make an impact by shaping and driving ServiceNow solution strategies that enable organizations to transform employee experiences through automation and digital workflows. You will be a valued member of our ServiceNow Practice team and work closely with Sales, delivery teams, and clients to define, position, and implement high‑value ServiceNow solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ServiceNow Employee Experience solutions during the pre‑sales lifecycle, including opportunity qualification and solution positioning.
  • Lead client discussions to define scope, requirements, and solution strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Deliver impactful ServiceNow product demonstrations, both standard and customized, for prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop proposals, work estimates, and Statements of Work (SOWs) to support sales and delivery efforts.
  • Partner with Sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from pre‑sales to implementation.
  • Provide thought leadership by creating content, participating in marketing events, and showcasing Cognizant’s ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow platform innovations and competitive landscape to effectively differentiate solutions.
  • Lead successful delivery of ServiceNow implementations, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and achievement of business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, frameworks, and service offerings.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, including hands‑on experience in implementation or solution design.
  • 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow Creator Workflows or Employee Experience solutions.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
  • Experience supporting pre‑sales activities, including demos, proposals, and client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and business process automation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

These will help you stand out

  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Pre‑Sales certifications.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience contributing to marketing initiatives, such as webinars, conferences, or thought leadership content.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience shaping and expanding ServiceNow service offerings or practice capabilities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $82,000 - $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
